C1 driving courses: choose the practical package that fits
A Category C1 licence covers vehicles with a maximum authorised mass between 3,500 kg and 7,500 kg, normally with a trailer up to 750 kg. It may be relevant for an ambulance, horsebox or other medium-sized vehicle; check the vehicle's plated weight and your current entitlement on GOV.UK before choosing a course.
Compare the current VAT-inclusive practical package prices and training hours on this page; the listed packages include a DVSA driving test. Medical, theory and Driver CPC stages depend on your existing entitlement and intended use. See the official vocational-driver route, and ask the team to confirm the exact stages and package inclusions before booking.
Practical training is based at Dunsfold Airport near Cranleigh. If travelling from Guildford, use the Guildford learner guide and Canada Avenue arrival guidance. For a vehicle needing a heavier trailer, compare the C1+E course.
