This management qualification is different from Driver CPC. Both a multiple-choice and a case-study examination must be passed; attending a course alone is not a qualification.

Plan your road-haulage Transport Manager route

This is the goods-vehicle qualification route, not Driver CPC and not the separate passenger-transport qualification.

1. Choose initial or refresher: The initial course prepares candidates for two exam parts. The refresher is for existing qualified managers reviewing their knowledge.
2. Check the written offer: Confirm the tutor or provider, classroom venue or online joining details, dates, syllabus, exam provider and fees, materials, any resit costs and terms before paying.
3. Qualify, then seek appointment: Passing both multiple-choice and case-study exams is required. An operator must separately apply to add a Transport Manager to its licence.

No driving licence is required merely to qualify as a Transport Manager. Appointment to an operator's licence is a separate regulatory process, not a course outcome.
