Getting to Our Training Centre from Chelsea

Our training centre at Dunsfold Aerodrome is easily reachable from Chelsea. The most efficient route typically involves heading southwest on King's Road/A3217, continuing onto New Kings Road/A308, and then turning left onto Fulham High Street/A219. From there, you'll take the A3 ramp towards Guildford, merging onto Kingston Road/A3. Continue on the A3, keeping right to stay on Portsmouth Road/A3. Take the exit towards Guildford/A322/Horsham/A281/Bagshot, then turn left onto Woking Road/A320. Go through two roundabouts, turn right onto York Road/A246, then slight left onto Millbrook/A281. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Canada Avenue, then turn right onto Perimeter Road, followed by another right turn to reach Dunsfold Aerodrome. The journey is approximately 38.1 miles and takes around 1 hour and 13 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

The Guildford DVSA Test Centre

The DVSA practical test for our HGV courses is conducted at the Guildford test centre at Slyfield Industrial Estate, Moorfield Road, Guildford GU1 1SA. Our instructors are intimately familiar with the test routes and conditions, including the notable Wych Hill Lane section. This includes the uphill start, where a stop sign at the top requires a precise hill start, and the subsequent downhill section where a hill start is required at the second telegraph post. You will also experience driving on the A3 dual carriageway section, preparing you for real-world driving scenarios.
