Macfarlane Packaging is recruiting a permanent HGV Class 2 Driver at its Horsham site, covering Sussex and surrounding areas.

Pay and hours

Up to £34,000 per year, plus bonuses and benefits. Full-time, Monday to Friday, daytime hours; no nights or weekends. Exact start and finish times are not specified by the employer.

The role

• Regional multi-drop deliveries, typically 5–20 drops per day depending on the route.
• Safe operation of Category C vehicles, daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Loading vehicles, securing loads correctly and working with the warehouse team.
• Customer service and compliance with health and safety procedures.

Licences and experience

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Multi-drop or regional delivery experience.
• Strong safety awareness, reliability and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
