Driver CPC Courses in HGV Driver Training
A driver must hold the Driver CPC, or Driver Certificate of Professional Competence, in order to legally operate a bus, coach, or HGV. Put simply, if you drive an HGV, LGV, bus, or coach for a living, you must have a Driver CPC. Every five years, you must complete 35 hours of periodic training in order to keep your driver's CPC licence. These make up the first CPC modules as well as the Theory and Practical sections of the HGV Training and Tests. You must finish all four sections if you want to drive professionally.
